I photograph a lot of jewelry and write about the experience and techniques often. For some of our jewelry photography see: https://www.jeffbehm.com/jewelry, https://www.behmphoto.com/jewelry-and-a-photographic-passion/, https://www.behmphoto.com/a-pearl-of-a-golden-opportunity/, https://www.behmphoto.com/what-do-you-love-to-create-yep-we-photograph-that/,
But wait! There’s more!
Truth is, those same techniques apply to other subjects as well. For instance, electronics. In this post we’re showing capabilities in electronics manufacturing for Al-Tech (https://altechlive.com/cable-harness-assemblies/).
While most of this assignment includes items that are significantly larger than jewelry, the lighting and tools are much the same. Then, when we get down to the smallest components in this project, we’re talking about items the size of a pin; essentially jewelry sized and smaller.
Since the purpose of this project is to demonstrate Al-Tech’s capabilities, quite a few of the items shown have been specifically created for demonstration purposes only and are not actually for sale as shown. The client needs good clean photographs of the components, the quality wiring, attention to detail in the wrapping, etc.
Respect for your intellectual property
Frankly, some items from this assignment are proprietary in nature, and can’t be shown, much as we might like to. Our extensive experience with this includes US Military, Government contractors, and the field of medical research. That’s part of our responsibility and obligation to you as well: to respect your intellectual property needs above and beyond the act of photography.
Our job for many decades has been to create photographs that make it clear as day what your company does, what your products look like and how you provide those for your clientele.
