Headshot, head shot, head-shot….we use the terms interchangeably, but essentially, they mean one thing to you if you’re in the market for a business portrait: A realistic, attractive representation of you for the benefit of your clients. How does a headshot benefit your clients? Done right, there’s a sparkle of your personality, a sense of your style, and maybe a little of your environment that appears in the image, granting a little better connection to you. When clients connect with business, good things follow.
Certainly there is reason and room for both the traditional neutral background as well as the environmental, and it’s my pleasure to offer you both (if you need Executive Portraiture, a more elaborate photo production, see this).
Even better news, these headshots are available “on the fly”. I’ll explain.
Realistic, attractive photos of you for the benefit of your clients
The photos above were created for Kimberlee on short notice. Business travel requirements and corporate publishing deadlines were in conflict with each other. Photos were needed almost immediately, before leaving town for an extended trip. No problem. I came to her home, set up two different mini-studios, one on her back yard and one in her family room complete with the traditional backdrop, and created a series from which to choose, a few of which are above, her selections, below.
Kimberlee chose one each from the two sets, as seen in these two finished selections. Her beauty, energy and personality sparkle, as you can see for yourself.
